Fred Thompson.

The young son of a famous engineer in Victorian England, Fred died of a fatal illness while still in the single digits, and ascended to heaven. But 200 years have passed, and he can't help but wonder why his father did not ascend. He later finds out that his father was driven mad by his son's death, and upon his own death, was cast into hell... and became Sir Pentious. Fred is now a member of a group of angels who want to let damned souls enter hell because so many of them were friends or family of saved souls. Some angels are even questioning why God has accepted crusaders from the Middle-Ages into Heaven, considering they slaughtered children.
