Scenario: After a number of unsuccessful attempts to get Angel back, Valentino kidnaps Cherri Bomb and Nugs, and blackmails Angel. If Angel returns to him, sells out the Hotel staff, and never speaks to the rest of the heroes again, he will allow Cherri and Nugs to live. But if Angel disobeys even the smallest "request", he will kill Cherri and make Angel watch. Then kill, cook, and eat Nugs, and make Angel watch.
Caught in a no win scenario, Angel reluctantly complies. He returns to Val, betrays Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Husk and Nifty, and does everything Valentino tells him, even if it means being raped. But as is common with blackmailed heroes, eventually Angels conscious tells him that this is wrong. He frees Charlie, Vaggie, Husk, Nifty, and Alastor, rescues Cherri and Nugs, and after a hectic chase and fight where Val sheds his suave and sophisticated appearance and becomes a savage monster, Angel finally kills his hated boss.
But the others are still hesitant to trust Angel, and at the Hotel, while Angel waits in the entrance hall, the others debate on whether or not Angel should still be allowed to stay. After hours of debating and arguing in circles, the group decides to put it to a vote.
Vaggie votes to evict Angel because he betrayed both them and Valentino, and thinks he only betrayed the latter to get out of trouble, just like why I came to the hotel.
Nifty votes for Angel to stay, saying that Angel was in a no win situation. But when push came to shove he saved them. That shows he is now 100% devoted to Charlie's cause.
Husk votes for Angel to stay, saying Angel is now a pariah to the Demon Lords, and the Hotel and the staff are all he has left now.
Alastor votes to evict Angel claiming that he can't be trusted anymore, and that one good action doesn't make up for years of violence and lies. Secretly however, he hopes that if Charlie kicks out a hotel patient, she will be one step closer to doubting that the hotel can work, and therefore turn evil.
With the votes tied up, it's all up to Charlie now. From what we know of her, combined with probable character development scenarios, do you think Charlie should allow Angel to stay? Or does he have to go?
