Heyo wiki users. Now I know it’s not exactly November yet but I will likely not have time nor tomorrow or Friday to post this.
This month, we have a ton of stuff to cover. We currently have two new changes already in the works, as well as a ton of reminder of the guidelines that a lot of you have been neglecting for the last month or so, a few other reminders of our wiki sources and how you can contribute to the wiki more, and our Staff of the Month shoutout. So strap on in and enjoy the long ride that I am going to take you on.
New changes:
New Holiday Wiki Themes. We are currently in the works of creating some new wiki themes that we will implement to the community on every popular international holiday. Unfortunately due to short notice and planning on the idea, all we have to come up with for tomorrow is a newly branded logo (which I hope we don’t forget to upload). If you have any suggestions on color schemes and more, please share your feedback in the comments below.
AI content is now prohibited. Due to the recent events in our world concerning the use of AI, we are no longer allowing any sort of AI content on the wiki. This will include Chat AI’s, picture generation AI’s, and basically anything else that falls under that umbrella. The only thing we will accept is AI tools that personally helps a user to write their responses better in discussions, pages, as well as CSS/code generation (as long as it doesn’t break the wiki). Let me also clarify that this has been a discussion for quite awhile now and that the topic was just revived a few weeks ago in light of some unfortunate events in real life as well as drama on other wikis and here too. This decision will be final as the vote on it was unanimously decided upon, not just by staff, but as well as dedicated wiki users (more information will be given below).
Reminder of guidelines:
Self Promotions. Please remember that all self promotions of social media accounts are prohibited and it’s been a rule for a long time now. This includes all social platforms, including YouTube accounts and self-made videos. First two times you post it will be a warning. Third time will be a week long block. Continuous behavior on the part will result in longer blocks.
Vivziepop drama. Now I know that there is a lot of drama that has been frequently discussed among the community about Hazbin and Helluva’s creator, Vivienne Medrano. This is nothing new. But just as a reminder, to keep out all toxic discussions that will cause unwanted negative behavior, we strongly urge you that no matter how bad you think it’s important to share, that you do not. These discussions are not healthy and can result in an uptick of troll activity. While it’s not a guarantee that will happen, it is possible. I’ve seen communities die because of it. So in short, avoid all that drama talk and stay on the positive things.
Fanon Content. All fanon content is to be moved to our affiliated fanon wiki. And if you don’t know where that is, it’s on our wiki main page near the bottom. It’s barely hard to miss. This includes fanfics, headcanons, and OCs. The only exceptions to this rule are theorizations, OC characters with actual text included, and a few other moderator approved things on last minute decision.

Discord
We are affiliated with Hellscape server on Discord where their staff team was kind enough to provide us with our very own Wiki Category and channels. This is where you can vote on new proposals, discuss new things you think the wiki will benefit from, report things that breaks the guidelines, and get along with your fellow wiki members. Indeed, we have a wiki Twitter account. I wouldn’t recommend making an account for sole purpose of following the account as it’s not as active as I hoped it would’ve been when we first created it. I might end up moving it to Bluesky. We’ll see though. If you want the link to it, please message me on my message wall.
STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH
This month’s nomination will be @Gemmaniac or what people normally calls her “Theresivy”. She is one of our longest running staff members, starting her journey for about 4 (5 maybe?) years now. She is also one of our retired bureaucrats and now holds the role of being a content moderator.
