Difference is Adam brought this on himself by accelerating the rate of the exterminations, spitefully targeting the hotel first, and breaking the deal to spare hellborns, whereas Vaggie committed the great sin of...sparing a child. I just don't see how they're two sides of the same coin.

Well, the theory of her and the rest of the exorcists being clones of Eve may give insight as to why they are this way. And if Vaggie is also a clone, this raises more questions.

Wouldn't that make them clones of Adam by proxy, considering Eve was made from Adam's rib ?

Interesting. And it opens options not just for Lute. But Vaggie as well. And exploring it may help explain why Vaggie turned, yet so far, no one else did.
