With season two coming up in the future, what are your thoughts on Baxter?

Are you looking forward to seeing Baxter x Niffty in Season Two?

I have a theory that Baxter was the one who helped Pentious create the Egg Boiz

I got two ideas for him. And two British rock stars to demonstrate how they may sound

1. A song about how he's completely full of himself, and believes himself to be the smartest demon in all of hell, and is never wrong. I imagine it would be an evil version of "I'm The Greatest". 2. A song about his feelings for Nifty if the two do develop a genuine romance. The song is similar to "Invivisible Touch", but at least a bit more violent or less subtle sexual metaphors, if any at all. The song is how she has reached him, causing him to disregard at least a portion of the above song. And is about how great Nifty. And how much Baxter is changing. As we know, Sir Pentious was killed by Adam, but later redeemed as we saw near the end of episode 8. First of all, I bet Sera and Emily have a lot to discuss with each other and with Sir Pentious, and decisions are going to have to be made for the people of both heaven and hell. But as far as we know, Charlie and everyone else assume Sir Pentious is dead, not redeemed. So no one actually knows if the whole idea of the hotel works or not, at least until Sera or Emily have a discussion with Charlie about Sir Pentious, which can either go well, or go terribly wrong.

As stated at the San Diego Comicon in the sneak peek for season 2, Baxter said he wants to explore the idea of redemption. He also stated that he has his doubts it will work. So no one in Hell knows about Sir Pentious's redemption, but there is many people that could mess with the idea of it if they knew. Lilith looked like she was in heaven at the end of season 1, and I have a feeling if she found out, she would put this big cover story and re enter hell to visit the hotel, wanting to seem like she wants to help Charlie and her dream. But truly, she'll probably emotionally manipulate Charlie, and try to end the idea of the hotel when Charlie gets vulnerable enough around her. I think there is still a lot to be covered, but I have a feeling that we will get all the info we need in future seasons. What are your thoughts?

In the Baxter teaser he said he believe redemption is impossibe.

So either Sera never tells Charlie for some reason as Charlie never replies back that it is because of Pentious.

Or

Charlie knows about it, and made it public but no one believe her, thinking Pentious just died, and Baxter want to prove Charlie's is a fraud.

I think I already like this dude. I already knew of his existence, but now I'm so excited to see him in the show.

I could see it leading them either to becoming better or worse people. I would hope the latter occurs. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

But what do you think? Either way, it looks like Nifty's getting more character next season.

For me Ben Schwartz should voice Baxter given that Ben does voice a lot of characters that wear the color blue but at the same time maybe Baxter could be like this chaotic but funny character if he gets introduced in season two.

Next Arackniss, now I actually remembered people mentioning that he should be voiced by Jason Marsden and I can sort of agree given that Jason can make this badass voice just like what he did with his previous characters.

Finally Molly, sure she isn’t in Hell, but I really want her be voiced by Ashly Burch or Anna Kendrick cause I have this feeling that Molly could have a uplifting personality if she gets a recurring role.

Baxter is trans. This stems from the fact that, in his demonic form, which is an angler fish, shows traits of the female specimens from that species, which could hint to him being trans, kind of like the horns of the imps. Tbh it would be pretty difficult for this to be canon since Baxter was born pretty long ago and transphobia was pretty big then and Baxter could have denied this part about himself, but, yeah, that's all.
