I do want to start this by saying that if anyone disagrees with what I'm saying, I'm not going to get into any arguments, and I'd hate to have to lock my own post.
So. Helluva Boss. I'll talk about season one to get going. Season one of the show is great. Characters are fun and silly, action is entertaining without being too lacking or too intense, voice acting is amazing and the humour, jokes and comedy is on point. I don't think can honestly say that I have a single issue with the first season.
Season two is where I start to have problems. And my biggest one? Season two is just not funny. Get mad if you want, but at least compared to season one, there are far less jokes, and I laughed perhaps three times every four episodes. It feels like the show forgot that it's listed and classed as a comedy. Season two feels more like: backstory, backstory, TRAUMA, backstory, TRAUMA, TRAGIC SAD TEARS oops we're not funny anymore let's have Blitzo make a penis joke TRAUMA.
I really hope that season 3 can be more like season one while still having the character depths and developments that season two had.
