Past[]

Adam and Lilith, the first humans
From the dust of Earth, Adam and Lilith were the first humans created by the Angels, made to be equal and lived in the Garden of Eden. However, Adam wanted total control over Lilith, but she refused and left him for Lucifer Morningstar. Adam would later be given a new wife, Eve,[1] who together with would then conceive the first generation of humans.
At some point, Adam received divine ordainment and became an angel,[1] and the first human soul to enter Heaven.[2]
In Heaven, Adam would suggest the Extermination to the High Seraphim Sera, which she reluctantly agreed to for the safety of Heaven, and he became the leader of his own military, the Exorcists. The only rule Sera ordered was that he was to keep it all a secret from everyone in Heaven, so the only people in Heaven who were allowed to know about the Extermination were Sera, Adam, and the Exorcists.[2]
At some point, Adam named an Exorcist after what he thinks is "the best thing ever", Vaggie (with a soft "g"), who was one of his "top girls".[2]
Seven years prior to "Overture", he and his ex-wife, Lilith, made a deal where she would be allowed to live in Heaven.
At some point, after Lute punished Vaggie for sparing a demon child by ripping her left eye and her wings off, Adam took her halo and the two left Vaggie in Hell.[2]
The weekend before "Overture", he was playing a gig when he noticed a Virtue woman was into the drummer. He convinced her to sleep with him as he's "the original dick".[1]
Hazbin Hotel Season 1[]
"Overture"[]
Adam and Lucifer were set to meet in the Heaven Embassy, but Lucifer sent Charlie to meet with him instead. When they meet, Adam messed with Charlie twice; offering a handshake even though he was a hologram, and offering food when the food is also a hologram.

Adam playing the guitar
He wasted discussion time talking about his activities in Heaven until Charlie finally talks about having a solution to their "biggest problem", which is the overpopulation crisis in Hell. Charlie tries to explain her plan on rehabilitating Sinners, but Adam mocks the idea in a song and then states how he and the other Exorcists have moved the Extermination to take place a half year early because he "couldn't wait a whole year to slaughter those little c****". He then shoves Charlie out the door.

Finding the Exorcist corpse
Later, he sits in a room watching a drone look for a deceased beheaded Exorcist, and once found reveals that in six months they intend on killing every Sinner to make sure there is none left alive to kill another Exorcist again.
"Welcome to Heaven"[]
During Charlie and Vaggie's visit in heaven, he and Lute recognized Vaggie and paid her a visit. He asked her to work with him during the hearing at the court or he would reveal her true origins to Charlie.

Adam accidentally revealing the extermination
During the hearing, he was asked how human souls ascend, fumbling for a while before quickly writing a paper with three directives ("act selfless, don't steal, and stick it to the man"). While observing, he held his position that Sinners can't be redeemed despite Angel Dust's actions completing the three directives he had set out. During the debate, he accidentally revealed the Extermination to the court, and then revealed Vaggie's true nature to Charlie, shocking her. After the court ruled that sinners cannot be redeemed, Adam threatened Charlie that during the Extermination, he would attack her Hotel first.
"The Show Must Go On"[]

Adam leading the Extermination
On Extermination day, Adam launched the attack on the Hotel first, as he previously threatened. He was shocked to see that the demons were using their own weapons against them. Angered and annoyed, he proceeded to destroy Alastor's shield and engaged the latter. After a brief confrontation he managed to seriously injure the Overlord, forcing him to flee from the battle.
Adam then attacked the demons, vaporizing Sir Pentious and his blimp. He is then attacked by Charlie but manages to gain the upper hand, but before he could strike a decisive blow, he was attacked by Lucifer, who easily defeated him.

Niffty repeatedly stabbing Adam
Despite being badly injured, he still got up and berated Charlie and her companions. He rants, going on about how he started all of mankind and everything else on Earth and everybody should be worshipping him, only to be stabbed in the back repeatedly by Niffty, fatally wounding him and leaving him on the verge of death. In his final moments, he smiles at Lute before passing away.
Lute brings Adam's halo to Lilith, who is lounging on a beach in Heaven to let her know that his death meant their deal was over unless she goes down to Hell and stop her daughter. It's currently unknown what happened to his body as it was left in Hell.
