Blake Roman

Blake Roman is a stage and voice actor known for his performance as Chopin in the 2023 revival of the Broadway musical Harmony.

He voices Angel Dust and the Egg Boiz in the Hazbin Hotel series.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] He also voices as one of the mariachi imps who sings The Ballad of Striker in Helluva Boss.

Background[]

Blake was born and raised on a farm in rural Erie, Pennsylvania, with musical theater never being seen as a viable career. However, showing great talent in his local circles caught the eye of the University of Michigan. Before working in Hollywood, Blake Roman graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan in 2019, receiving the Equity/Alan Eisenberg scholarship recognizing "outstanding talent and career potential" for a graduating senior from the school's Musical Theater Department.^[6]

According to Sam Haft, Blake Roman went into his audition straight out of school, no credits from Broadway, television shows, films, or even voice acting credits and nobody knew who he was, but his audition absolutely blew everyone away.^[7]^[8]
- Haft also stated that the thing he is most excited for in Hazbin Hotel is the world's discovery of Blake Roman.^[8]
Blake's favorite Angel Dust line in season one is when he says "Not now Fat Nuggets" in "Radio Killed the Video Star".^[9]
- His favorite Niffty line in season one is her saying that she kills mother bugs in front of their children in "Scrambled Eggs".^[9]
Blake's favorite song in season 1 is Loser, Baby, and his favorite line from the song is "I sold my soul to a psychopathic freak. Haha! And you think that makes you unique? Get outta here, man!".^[10]
Blake is the youngest voice actor of the main cast of Hazbin Hotel.
He is openly bisexual.^[11]
