Christian Borle (pronounced Bor-ulh[1]) is a stage and voice actor who provides the English voice of Vox in the Hazbin Hotel series.[2]
Career[]
He is well known for playing the roles of Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher and William Shakespeare in Something Rotten, winning Tony Awards for both roles. Additionally, he played Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors.
On Broadway, he originated the roles of Prince Herbert in Spamalot, Emmet in Legally Blonde, and Joe in Some Like it Hot.

- The GalaxyCon Animate! Columbus 2025 Hazbin Hotel panel was Christian Borle's first ever time being on a convention stage.[3]
- For Hazbin Hotel, Borle was offered the role of Vox. He thinks he got the offer because he was doing the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors which was pretty close to Vox, and so he "lucked into it".[4]
- Vivziepop later confirmed that, actually, he was offered the role because of the song Don't Say Yes Until I Finish Talking from the musical TV series Smash, which she had in a Vox playlist she made and thought "This is the character".[5][6]
