The Egg Boiz are Sir Pentious' minions and former antagonists turned supporting characters who made their debut in the Hazbin Hotel pilot.
In "The Show Must Go On", all of the Egg Boiz were killed by Exorcists or vaporized by Adam, except for Frank, leaving him as the sole survivor and the only Egg Boi in the Hotel from then on.
In "Storyteller", four angelic versions of the Egg Boiz were created by Emily to help Sir Pentious cope with his loneliness in Heaven.
In "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", it's revealed that the Egg Boiz were jointly created by Sir Pentious and Baxter. It's also revealed that Sir Pentious ended their partnership with Baxter and took the Egg Bois away after seeing Baxter's unethical experiments on them.
Appearance
The Egg Boiz, as their names imply, are sentient eggs that have small skinny black limbs. It seems that their yellow eyes are actually inside the large crack in their shells and their mouths are an additional crack on the outside of their shells.
Just like Sir Pentious, they wear a yellow shirt under a grey coat with yellow vertical stripes on it and a black tie. They also wear a black top hat with a pink or magenta stripe atop their shells.
Frank
From "New Pentious" onward, being the sole survivor of the Egg Boiz, Frank's appearance is similar to the other Egg Boiz but he now has a crack going over his left eye, resembling a scar. He also now wears a new hat with a singular eye at the front, similar to Sir Pentious' hat.
Angelic Egg Boiz
In "Storyteller", Emily created a group of four brand new Egg Boiz for Sir Pentious. These new Egg Boiz are entirely golden in color, with small angelic halos and golden wings. Notably, their eyes appear to be actual eyes rather than cracks in their shells, similar to their mouths. Each egg also has eyelashes, a visible fang in their mouths, three tuffs of hair atop their heads, and wear a golden tie.
Personality
They all share a goofy, carefree personality, but are also extremely loyal to Sir Pentious despite the latter mistreating them every chance he gets.
Unlike the others, Egg Boi #23 seems to have some sort of masochistic tendencies, desiring to be shot by Sir Pentious, and talking about this to an uncomfortable degree.
But, some of them would agree with Sir Pentious' enemies such as when Angel Dust insulted him and his hat and one of them acknowledged the roast Angel made.
They aren't the brightest, but are very obedient and loyal to their allies that they follow suit without much hesitation or question. Because of this, they aren't too keen on having any sort of emotional attachment to their "bosses", as they didn't show any sadness or resistance when Sir Pentious chose to bid a heartbreaking farewell and let them go.
The Egg Boiz are also bad at keeping secrets, such as when Frank, one of the eggs, obliviously told Sir Pentious about the angel Carmilla killed, despite promising Alastor he'd keep it between them. However, Sir Pentious didn't believe Frank since him and the Egg Boiz are known to say random things, causing a problem for Sir Pentious and his friends since what Frank said was actually true and useful information.
They aren't scared to fight even an Overlord if they seem like a threat to them and their boss.
The angelic Egg Bois adore Sir Pentious. The only thing they say is "Eggy", which annoys him.
Mortality
Since their bodies are literal eggs, they can die easily by crushing, falling, and breaking. This indicates that their bodies are very fragile, just like normal eggs.
History
Past
The Egg boiz were created by Baxter who used his speciality in Bioscience to make them, they were grown from yolk in containers, and at a young age would serve as assistants for Sir Pentious. But one day Baxter's experiments on the Egg Boiz would be too "vile" and "cruel" by Sir Pentious when he tried to dp a test on one of them which resulted in it exploding, and they were taken away by Pentious from Baxter, and they would soon aid as his minions in his turf war schemes.
Hazbin Hotel pilot
The Egg Boiz were seen going around in Sir Pentious blimp as Pentious trying to take over territory in hell, one of the Egg Boiz he is pretty swell and another cheers him and another said that he showed them what for and liked when he shot them with his ray gun and is smacked by him, and another walks his fingers on his back. An Egg boi then wished he would shoot him with his ray gun. Pentious then grabs another of his Egg boiz by the tail and squeezes it, and the Egg boiz soon celebrate his plan to take over as one uncorked wine and one says "Oh boy", while Pentious knocks two off.
As Pentious proclaims Hell will be his, a voice calls out to him, and when he questions if it was one of the Egg boiz they tell him it wasn't the as a bomb launches in the blimp and causes damage to the shop and the Egg Boiz. As Cherri Bomb appears and challenges Pentious to a fight, the Egg Boiz prepare to take her on as they brandish some tool weapons.
The fight between Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb is later broadcasted over 666 news, and as they fight many Egg Boiz are seen to have perished in the background and Cherri grabs one Egg boi and throws it at Pentious who then throws it back at her and she cracks it's shell and puts a bomb in it and throws it back at Pentious as it explodes.
As Angel Dust comes in to assist Cherri bomb in the fight, a swarm of Egg Boiz come in to attack them but are shot down by Cherri and Angel, and Angel launches on Egg Boi into the air and shoots it, and later bashes one with a bat. Cherri later cracks an Egg Boi open, and as Angel insults Pentious and Egg Boi calls out the insults, and later another one uses a weapon to wrangle Angel by the limbs and one also brandishes a drill to use on Angel, before he breaks free from his bind. The rest off the Egg boiz later charge with Sir Pentious at Angel and Cherri for their final showdown, though it's unknown which side had won.
Later as Sir Pentious tries to attack Alastor with his blimp at the Hazbin Hotel, but Alastor uses his power to destroy the blimp, which causes the Egg boiz to roll over and get smashed. After the Blimp is destroyed and Egg Boi asks if Pentious will shoot him with his ray gun now.
Hazbin Hotel Season 1
"Radio Killed the Video Star"
The Egg Boiz are seen in the zeppelin with Sir Pentious as he tries to attack Alastor again, and one of them says that he told him, but later Sir Pentious is defeated and an Egg Boi cracks upon the ground.
"Scrambled Eggs"
The Egg Boiz are seen riding Sir Pentious "Skin flayer 11,000", and are seen getting off and chasing along Keekee. Two Egg Boiz are seen struggling over a laser as some of them rst over some delivery stuff from Carmine's exports, and as the two of them accidentally fire the laser and it damages the roof of the hotel, Vaggie tell Pentious that his Egg Boiz need to go, but Pentious doesn't want them since they do his evil bidding for him as he holds them, but Soon Pentious sadly tells them that they have to go, and they say okay as they leave along with Vaggie.
The Egg Bliz are then taken to Alastor's room by Vaggie, and as some of them fight a little, Vaggie says to Alastor to get rid of them since they are all over the place, and while Alastor happily agrees to get rid of them Vaggie says to do it "humanely" so Alastor agrees nonetheless and takes them on his outing.
As Alastor takes them out, the Egg Boiz ask him questions like what's his plan and one says they like his suit and one asks what are his Antlers for and one also asks if he can touch his staff, and if those are his ears or his hair since he can't tell. As Zestial appears before them the Egg Boiz ask who that is and if they can rough him up as they prepare to fight, but Alastor tells them to follow in silence if they value their shells, the Egg Boiz soon follow along with them as they converse, and as they reach Carmine's building near the elevator Alastor tells them he has a task for them as they are to stay here and guard the front until he returns, which the Egg Boiz salute and follow to, but one Egg Boi named "frank" gets carried in the Elevator by accident with Alastor and Zestial, and as they see him they questioned that they have names as they call out frank.
As Frank goes up to the Carmine building he is amazed to see the Overlords there and sneaks into the meeting room and hides behind a chair, and as he sees Rosie and waves at her she smiles with her full teeth which frightens him, he then spies as the meeting goes on an and watches As Velvette leaves, as the other Overlords leave and Frank avoids them, Alastor calls on him and as Frank asks what he wants, Alastor says he has a task for him and asks for him to Spy on Carmilla in her office, and as Frank complies and sneaks in and hides behind a plant to watch as Carmilla talks about her secrets. The Egg Boiz are seen diving around in a Dumpster and say it's fun, As Frank gets off in an Elevator and as Alastor stops him as he's about to walk out and asks him what he has heard, Frank talks about "the old guy" Zestial not being herself since she's the one who killed the Angel and that Carmilla was saying Whatever It Takes, and as Alastor tells him to repeat the last part about her killing an Angel, he calls it interesting and says to keep it between them which Frank complies with.
As they return to the hotel, Vaggie tells him that he failed to get rid of them, Alastor says that the Egg Boiz have proven to be useful, and Vaggie says to give them back to Pentious since he can be trusted with them now, as Sir Pentious goes to them and hugs them, he says it's good to have them back as he tells them to clean his quarters this instant, and they go immediately.
The Egg Boiz are then in bed in their pajamas with Sir Pentious as they get ready to sleep, Frank then tells him about his day since he went to this meeting, where there was a "Knife lady" Carmilla, and an "old guy" Zestial and a "Dinosaur" Zeezi, and tells him that Carmilla killed an angel and he was not supposed to talk about it, and as Sir Pentious doesn't believe it, the Egg Boiz then cuddle with him as they go to sleep as Sir Pentious says good night to them.
"Dad Beat Dad"
The Egg Boiz are seen with the rest of the hotel gang as Charlie welcomes her dad Lucifer to the hotel, as they launch some fireworks.
"Hello Rosie!"
Frank and another Egg Boi are seen riding Keekee along in the lounge. As Vaggie points out that Carmilla had killed an Angel, Frank says to her that she had killed one, and when she questioned him knowing about it, he says he does and he told his boss Pentious about it months ago, and when Vaggie questioned this, Pentious says they say insane stuff all the time and didn't know this one was true, and an Egg Boi says that "Bank accounts are a scam created by the shadow government" which Sir Pentious notes as an example.
The Egg Boiz are later seen building up reinforcements for the upcoming Extermination in the hotel and are seen carrying planks and tools as Sir Pentious leads them.
"The Show Must Go On".
The Egg Boiz are then seen with Sir Pentious helping him build technology for the upcoming war against the Exorcists. During the battle, one Egg Boi is smashed by an Exorcist and as Frank backs away in fear as the Exorcist is about to kill him next, Angel jumps in and saves him by shooting down the Exorcist, and Frank says he "nearly scrambled himself " while Angel tells him to get somewhere safe. Later as Sir Pentious attempts to face down Adam by flying his blimp at him, the Egg Boiz salute him as he does, and as they ride towards the target Sir Pentious prepares to fire but Pentious and the Egg Boiz are obliterated by Adam.
Hazbin Hotel Season 2
"New Pentious"
Frank is seen with Charlie as he shows her various statues of Sir Pentious crying, like when he was caught spying, and when Charlie forgave him, and when he first lost to Cherri bomb, and another statue where he was crying, when Frank told Charlie that Pentious said he was the most handsome egg boi he has seen, even though Frank made it up, he then hands her a handkerchief, he then hands over Pentious death ray to her and tells her that he would've wanted her to have it and he comforts her as she cries.
"Storyteller"
In Heaven Sir Pentious is seen trying to make a robotic replica of an Egg Boi but it fails. Emily then creates Heaven-like versions of the Egg Boiz for him using her powers which are golden and have wings and halos, which shocks Pentious and makes him happy again and cry with joy and he says he loves them and will tolerate them as they say "Egg" multiple times, much to his consternation.
Afterwards as Emily takes Pentious to a room, the Angelic Egg Boiz follow him there as Emily welcomes him to Heaven, later after Emily leaves through a portal to tell Charlie about the important news about him being redeemed and about Heaven's lockdown, Pentious goes to his bed as the Angelic Egg Boiz cuddle with him to comfort him.
"Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors"
Frank narrowly avoids being crushed by the VoxTek 150-Inch Deluxe Television being dropped into the Hotel.
Later, as KeeKee laid sleeping around him, Frank watched the advertisement for "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors" on the couch in the lobby TV area.

Development
- In the pilot, each of the Egg Boiz had a number written on their back to help identify them, but what the exact number of them were is unknown, although the highest number seen was #920.
- However, this seems to have been changed in the main series, as there have so far only been five Egg Boiz shown consistently, and none have had anything written on their backs.
