Trivia[]
- Years before Henningsen was cast as Charlie in the official series, Vivienne Medrano publicly lauded the Mean Girls musical on Twitter, claiming that one of the singers "has such a Charlie voice" without stating whom.[5]
- According to Henningsen, when asked in an interview about what her favorite animation detail was, she mentioned Angel Dust's boob fluff.[6]
- In an interview, Henningsen explained that her favorite thing about Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg's songs for Hazbin Hotel is that they are written with a different style for every person, and further explaining that the way she sounds as Charlie is like a rebel Disney princess that drops an F-bomb in the middle of the most delightful melody you've ever heard.[7]
- Erika's favorite song to record in season one is "Finale" from "The Show Must Go On", which she says is because it was the first moment that she got to hear the voices of the other cast members because she recorded her part of the song last.[8][9]
- Erika's favorite season 1 episode is "The Show Must Go On".[10]
- Erika's favorite character from Helluva Boss is Loona.[11]
- When asked what season 2 episode she was most looking forward to, Erika's answer was episode 7 because of the building tension toward the season finale.[12]
- At the SDCC 2025 Roundtables, Erika explained that now having developed feelings for Hazbin Hotel and Charlie, if she could go back and rerecord season 1, there would be many things she would do differently, including the monologue at the beginning of "Overture".[13]
- According to the "Season 2 Q&A w/ the Cast" livestream countdown, as of the end of 2025, Alex Brightman, Brandon Rogers, James Monroe Iglehart, and Erika Henningsen, are the only four actors who have voiced characters in both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss.[14] Despite this, Blake Roman, Joel Perez, Don Darryl Rivera, Zach Hadel and Richard Horvitz have also voiced in both shows as well, and Patrick Page had confirmed in September 2025 that he had recorded for episodes of Hazbin Hotel.[15]
