Gabriel Christian Brown, also known as Black Gryph0n, is an American voice actor, singer-songwriter, and YouTuber. He was the English singing voice for Alastor in the pilot.

He is known on YouTube for his impressions of characters and singers and his channel has amassed over 4 million subscribers. He has released 2 full-length albums with his brother Nathanael Brown, or Baasik, titled "IMmortal" and "Diamond" released in July 2014 and August 2019 respectively.

Biography

Gabriel Brown was born in Annapolis, Maryland but is now residing in Tucson, Arizona.

At the age of 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, qualifying for the SEALs. During Special Operations, he was injured in a skydiving accident. Unable to recover in time to take the PST again, he cross-rated to Gunner's mate. He then joined the Navy choir, which eventually led him to get shipped to Yokosuka, Japan to join the 7th Fleet Band and become the lead singer of the Orient Express. They toured around the world covering American songs and singing in the native languages of the country they were in. After 3 years and 3 gold medals, he was honorably discharged and placed in the reserves.

Even while in the Navy he was still active on his YouTube Channel, uploading trips, sketches, song covers, original songs, and skydiving. He also joined the Brony Fandom at this time. While still based in Japan, he became good friends with Michelle Creber, the voice of Applebloom on MLP, and started collaborating. After getting discharged, he released his first album titled IMmortal with Nate.

Afterward, he moved to Vancouver to become a voice actor but he found very little success. He only managed to get small and uncredited roles, commercials, and singing parts in anything under DHX. He then moved back to Tucson.

In 2016, he, Michelle Creber, and Baasik started touring together for their album Getting Stronger. In December of that year, he released his first impression video titled "One Guy 22 Voices" which skyrocketed his views and subscribers. These impressions eventually let him reach 1 Million subscribers within 2 years.

In 2019, he uploaded "One Guy 54 Voices" which became his most-viewed video ever with over 110 million views. He also announced his new album revealing its name to be Diamond and made its debut at BronyCon. He currently lives in Tucson, Arizona, and plans to move to L.A..
