The Greed Ring is one of the seven Rings of Hell that was first seen in "Loo Loo Land".

Like the other rings in Hell, the Greed Ring is accessible and traversable by Hellborn species, while the Sinners can not due to being confined to and can only exist in the top ring, Pride.

Description

The Greed Ring appears to be a rundown city and industrial area with rampant criminal and gang activity. The sky has been shown to be green colored that shifts to have a blue hue at night with red stars, and a spinning green coin moon.

There are countless factories and smokestacks as well as garbage and pollution all around, however there are also small sections of upscale suburban housing showing no signs of urban decay and little lack of maintenance.

Trivia

• The realm is likely alluding to the Nine Circles that originates from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Greed in particular is said to be the fourth circle, and is reserved for the materialistic condemned.
• The Greed Ring was the second of the seven rings to be introduced.
• It is likely that Mammon might rule, or at least reside in this ring, given that his investments, such as Loo Loo Land, are present, which is consistent with Mammon as the prince of Greed in Binsfeld's classification of demons. This is further supported in his influence in the city of the Greed Ring, as seen in "Exes and Oohs".
• According to the "Verosika's Hell Tour" and "Mammon's Clown Pageant" shirt merchandise, the Greed Ring has a location called "Mint City". However, it is currently not known whether the information listed on the shirt is canon in the show.
  • Additionally, also listed in the "Mammon's Clown Pageant" shirt merchandise, the Greed Ring has a location called "Mammopolis". However, is is currently not known whether the information listed on the shirt are also canon in the show.
  • The name "Mint City" could be a reference to the how a mint is a place where currency is minted. This may imply that Hell's currency, Souls, is produced in this city.
• It is revealed in "Exes and Oohs", that Moxxie grew up in the Greed Ring. However, this contradicts his stating he was native to the Wrath Ring from "The Harvest Moon Festival".
  • It is later clarified by writer Adam Neylan that Moxxie was born in Wrath but was raised and spent most of his life in Greed.
• It was revealed in the episode "Exes and Oohs", that there is an elevator for helicopters to traverse to Greed.
