This is the article about their office. For the group, see I.M.P. |
The I.M.P Headquarters is the main office of I.M.P in Hell. It is located on the seventh floor[1] of a condemned office building with other companies in Imp City.[2]
Description[]
In "Exes and Oohs", the I.M.P Headquarters building is depicted as a large dark colored building with black and white horns built onto it, as well as having red-colored window panes.
As seen inside, within the meeting room, there is a whiteboard, a note board, and a table with some chairs inside, and having two decorations that include shields that have wings, swords, and skulls with striped horns.
There are some portraits on the walls; some involve the I.M.P members, some of them including Barbie Wire, and some posters of Blitzo's performances. The striped wallpaper is shown to not be in the best condition, with it having some tears and cracks on it.
In the pilot and "Spring Broken", the I.M.P Headquarters building is depicted as a large black and dark gray building with black and white horns built onto it, as well as having some black window panes, as well as spikes and antennas attached on it. The horns on the building are also shown to be cracked.
History[]
At some point Blitzo founded I.M.P and established an office in a condemned building in Imp City.
In the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot when the company had financial problems due to Blitzo's terrible management, Moxxie blamed Blitzo and Loona for this, but Millie stepped in to calm him down. Despite the criticism, Blitzo simply ignored it and soon reconciled with his colleagues to continue working together.
In "Murder Family", the office building was accidentally set on fire by Moxxie after he indirectly destroyed an aquarium filled with electric eels, but the fire was extinguished before the entire facility was burnt down.
Trivia[]
- The I.M.P company and the city where the office is located share the same name.
- The building has condemned notices around the exterior, which have been covered with company adverts.
- It is revealed in the episode "Spring Broken" that I.M.P isn't the only company in the building, with allegedly more successful ones operating on the other floors.
- It is also shown in "Spring Broken" that the building provides only one parking space for each company, though it is also evident that some of the other companies in the building are run by succubi, who are of higher class in Hell's hierarchy than imps, so this may only apply to I.M.P.
- As of "Spring Broken", Verosika's crew are doing freelance for one of the more successful companies in the building, and are operating on the seventh floor, directly across from I.M.P.
- It is revealed in "Ghostf**kers" that there is a company called Succ Inc that operates on the first, second, third, fifth, eighth, and ninth floors of the building.
- I.M.P or the office building has Human Resources. But, based on Vortex, Blitzo, and Verosika's reaction to Blitzo threatening to complain to them, it isn't taken seriously.
- Whenever anything in the office breaks, Blitzo usually gets Moxxie to fix it.
- Additionally, its a running gag that the office walls get torn up. This happens in "C.H.E.R.U.B", "Seeing Stars", and "Exes and Oohs".
- In "Seeing Stars", it is revealed that Blitzo's office safe has "1234" as the passcode.
- Additionally, a potted cactus can be seen in the office's waiting room given to Millie by her father, with a tag that says "To Millie / From Dad".
- During the pilot, one of the drawings on Blitzo's Boss Goals board is done by Moxxie, specifically of Carmilla Carmine, with a note written next to it by Blitzo saying "Moxxie drew not as good".
- As of "Exes and Oohs", the office now has a button that summons a human cardboard cutout as a practice dummy, and formerly a bust-sized statue of Blitzo, before Millie breaks it indirectly.
