James Monroe Iglehart is an American stage, film, television and voice actor best known for his Tony Award-winning performance as the Genie in the original Broadway production of Aladdin musical.
He voices Zestial in the Hazbin Hotel series[1] and an unnamed Sinner from Klub Kaiju in the Hazbin Hotel pilot. He also voices Vortex and Asmodeus in Helluva Boss.

James Iglehart is a Tony-award winning singer, actor and voice actor who played as the Genie in Disney's Aladdin musical on Broadway, and plays Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in the Broadway musical Hamilton, Lance Strongbow from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, as well as King Arthur in the 2023 revival of Monty Python's Spamalot.

- James first met Vivienne Medrano after seeing his Broadway performance of Aladdin in 2014, where the two chatted about animation and added each other on Facebook.[2] He also asked her that if she ever got her own show to let him know.[3]
- When he was still working for Disney, in 2014 or 2015, Vivziepop emailed James, asking him to do a single line for the Hazbin Hotel pilot, which he recorded on his phone because he was on his way to do Hamilton.[4] Some time after the pilot released, his agent called him and asked him if he would like to voice for Helluva Boss, and upon hearing Medrano's name he immediately agreed.[3]
