Jessica Vosk

Jessica Vosk is an American singer and actress, known for her work in musical theater.

She voices Lute in the Hazbin Hotel series.^[1]

Background[]

Jessica grew up in Clinton, New Jersey, and began participating in community theater when she was young. Her father, a band member, introduced her to singing. After finishing at North Hunterdon High School, she started studying musical theater at The Hartt School in West Hartford, Connecticut, but later transferred to Montclair State University, where she earned a degree in Communications and Public and Investor Relations. She then spent three years working in investor relations on Wall Street before deciding to pursue her Broadway career.

According to Vosk, one of her dreams has been to voice an animated character.^[2]^[3]
According to Vosk, Lute is the antithesis of everything that she would normally sing in her life, stating that she had to get down and dirty and mean, and that she did many takes with Vivienne and the team but every time she would get dirtier and darker she was asked to "do it even dirtier and darker" and may have done 50 versions.^[4]
