Magpie Raven Blackford is a comic book artist, animator, and background designer who worked on the Hazbin Hotel pilot, as well as the Angel Dust prequel and Alastor-centric comics.
Career[]
Magpie did cleanup animation and background design for the Hazbin Hotel pilot, as well as backgrounds for the two prequel comic adaptions[1] and some early episodes of Helluva Boss.
They also worked on the ADDICT music video, the HOLIDAZE short film and the ZooPhobia webcomic, but is no longer on the working with SpindleHorse.[2]
In 2021 they created the pilot for their own series titled MAYHEM!, which featured several SpindleHorse-alumni, both voices and animation, involved.[3]

- The character Vee from their pilot MAYHEM!, voiced by Hazbin Hotel's Monica Franco, is a caricature of Magpie themself.
