The Might of Lilith was a massive laser cannon made of Angelic Steel capable of incredible destruction. It was designed by Carmilla Carmine and built by the combined effort of Carmine Industries and VoxTek.[1]
It was powered by Lucifer's angelic power and was the Vees' ultimate weapon and the most crucial part in Vox's plan to conquer Heaven.[2] However, the cannon's blast from overloading was eventually and peacefully neutralized by the combined forces of the Hazbin Hotel residents, Emily, and the other Overlords containing it in a gold bubble.[3]
Description[]
The Might of Lilith is a giant black and silver cannon resembles a sci-fi ray gun from the 1960s. It has the VoxTek logo in red on the base of the gun, and it’s silver components glow white when in use.
Background[]
After Vox convinced Carmilla Carmine that joining him was the best way to protect her daughters, she built him an extremely powerful weapon using their combined resources to use against Heaven itself.[1] After capturing Lucifer and converting him to a power source for the weapon, Vox unveiled the "Might of Lilith" to the people of Hell. The laser cannon fired into Heaven, destroying its barrier and the Pearly Gates with enough force to send Saint Peter flying and the gates crashing into the Clock Tower. Vox then broadcasted a message to Heaven, giving the Seraphim 24 hours to surrender to Hell or they would take the holy realm by force.[2]
As Charlie and the others try to stop Vox, Vaggie tries to destroy the cannon and free Lucifer, but fails. Vox then uses the cannon while battling Alastor, destroying large portions of the Entertainment District and killing many Sinners, thus ruining his own reputation. Carmilla then helps Vaggie disable the weapon by cutting its internal circuitry, but Vox continues to fire it by drawing more power from Lucifer and ends up wounding Emily. When the weapon started to malfunction, Vox tried to use the cannon again, despite Carmilla warning him that doing so would cause the cannon to explode and take half of Pentagram City with it, but Vox having lost his composure decided it was worth it just to defeat Alastor once and for all, forcing Velvette and Valentino to stop him from firing it again. As the Might of Lilith reached critical mass, Emily, Charlie, and their friends use their combined energies to envelop the overloading cannon and neutralize it to save Pentagram City. Lute then arrives, attempting to impede their efforts and facilitate the self-destruction of the Might of Lilith as revenge, but is stopped by Abel. All of the Overlords in the area except Vox join Charlie and the others in saving Pentagram. In the end, the weapon exploded in the air.[3]
Trivia[]
- The weapon was named after Lilith, even though it uses Lucifer's power.
- This comes from the fact that Lucifer is the unknown power source of the weapon, while it was named after Lilith to make it more popular among Sinners.
- Valentino did not like how it looked. Velvette presumably didn't like the design either, judging by her expression.
- It gave Lucifer a "bad tickle" when activated.
