The Black Dot is a bar in the Pride Ring of Hell that made its debut in "Masquerade".

Description[]

The Black Dot resembles a grey and green ship. A bouncer is stationed outside two wooden doors, and triangular windows are present beside them, while rectangular windows are located at the top. An anchor shaped sign reads the name of the bar.

The interior is ship themed, with fishing nets, ropes, barrels for seats, and rudders for plates. The tables and couches inside are all round, and a jukebox sits against the wall opposite the counter where drinks are exposed.

Staff[]

The bouncer's bottom half resembles a shark, but his head is a fish in a round glass tank. He wears a plain black t-shirt.

The Black Dot Bartender

Bartender

The bartender is a one-eyed demon with a treasure chest for a head from which sprout red tentacles and a black mustache. He is humanoid but his arms are also tentacles. He wears an eyepatch on the top part of his head, a triangular bowtie, a white shirt with short sleeves, and a grey waistcoat.

History[]

In "Masquerade", after a long day at and then running out of the Hotel because of an argument with Husk, Angel Dust went to The Black Dot to drink and do drugs. Husk followed Angel to the bar and rescued him from a group of demons that tried to drug him. Outside, Husk and Angel consoled each other over their shared terrible circumstances until the demons from earlier came out where they fought and were defeated by Husk and Angel outside the bar.

Trivia[]

  • The Black Dot's name is likely a reference to the "Black Spot" from the novel Treasure Island, wherein a message and a black spot on paper are sent to an accused pirate to signify the verdict of their deposition from leadership or intended death at the hands of other pirates.
