This article is a timeline of events and dates related to the Hazbin Hotel universe. This page is divided into two timeframes between Earth and Hell, in order to account for the vague portrayal of time within the series and ambiguity between Earth years and Hell years.

Earth

Expansion of the Universe

• In expanding the universe, the Angels created Earth, and then from the dust of Earth they created Adam and Lilith, the first of Mankind. After Lucifer and Lilith granted free will to Adam's new bride, Eve, evil finally found its way to Earth, and the order Heaven worked to maintain was shattered.

1800s

• c.1840s - Sir Pentious is born in this decade on an unspecified date.
• c.1880s - Tom Trench is born in this decade on an unspecified date.
• 1888 - Sir Pentious dies and arrives in Hell.
• c.1890s - Husk is born in this decade on an unspecified date.

20^th century

1900s-1910s

• Alastor and Angel Dust are both born sometime in this decade.
• Baxter dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.
• Tom Trench dies sometime around World War I and arrives in Hell.

1920s

• Niffty is born sometime in this decade.
• Mimzy dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.

1930s

• 1933 - Alastor is killed and arrives in Hell, where he uses his raw power to wreak havoc and became feared as the "Radio Demon".

1940s

• 1947 - Angel Dust dies of a drug overdose and arrives in Hell.
• Katie Killjoy is born sometime in this decade.

1950s

• Vox dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.
• Niffty dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.

1960s

• Cherri Bomb is born sometime in this decade.

1970s

• Husk dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.
• Valentino dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.

1980s

• Cherri Bomb dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.

1990s

• 1992 - Katie Killjoy dies sometime in this decade and arrives in Hell.

21^st century

• January 8, 20XX - Mrs. Mayberry kills her husband Jarold after finding him having an affair with Martha and then kills herself. Sometime after, Mrs. Mayberry arrives in Hell.
• On an unspecified date, Martha and her entire family are killed by the actions of I.M.P. Sometime after, Martha arrives in Hell.
• Spring - Verosika Mayday and Blitzo make a bet over a parking spot before Verosika performs on Earth and loses the bet to I.M.P.
• December - Loopty Goopty dies from accelerated aging and arrives in Hell. Shortly after, I.M.P fights a trio from C.H.E.R.U.B and Lyle Lipton is killed by a falling piano and arrives in Hell.
• Blitzo and Moxxie get kidnapped by D.H.O.R.K.S. and have truthful hallucinations due to inhaling truth gas. Millie and Loona rescue Blitzo and Moxxie until Stolas comes to take the four home, while agents One and Two had been recording everything.
• 202X - Azathoth's Tears are going to be visible that night, but as Stolas is preoccupied moving Stella's belongings out from his home, Octavia steals Stolas' Grimoire from I.M.P Headquarters and accidentally goes to Los Angeles on Earth, prompting Stolas and I.M.P to search for her.
• July 13-17, 202X - Moxxie leads his first mission on Earth with Millie, while Blitzo looks for his estranged twin sister throughout Hell.
• October 30, 202X - Whilst stealing to survive, Cletus, Collin and Keenie are captured by D.H.O.R.K.S.. Realizing both groups have a shared enemy, I.M.P, they agree to team up to take them down.
• October 31, 202X - On Halloween night, Verosika hosts an anti-Blitzo party on Earth, which Stolas attends as Blitzo's newest ex. Stolas sings his feelings, then while he has a good time with someone else, Blitzo and Verosika have a heart to heart.
• On an unspecified Wednesday, Rita is killed by a "ghost" at a spooky hotel and arrives in Hell.
• On an unspecified date, I.M.P investigate the One Star Wonder for the "ghost" and kill the hellborn demon, Rolando.
• December 25, 202X - I.M.P go to kill their target, but Blitzo calls off the hit as he sees his own family in the humans'.

Hell

Expansion of the Universe

• Some time after the creation of Earth, Lucifer and Lilith convince Eve to eat the Fruit of Knowledge to grant her free will. However, this act of defiance allowed Evil to take hold in the universe and spawned a pit of darkness and sin. For their actions, the Elders of Heaven banished Lucifer and Lilith into the realm they inadvertently created.

30-21 years ago

• Millie is born roughly 27 years ago.
• 25 years prior to Blitzo stealing Stolas' Grimoire, on Stolas' birthday, Stolas learns of his life duties and receives a grimoire and news of engagement to Stella from his father, Paimon, who also takes him to a circus where he meets Blitzo for the first time.
• Loona is born 22 years ago.

20-11 years ago

• Octavia is born 17 years ago.
• On an unspecified date, Blitzo and Fizzarolli attended Mammon's concert, where he announced the start of his annual clown pageant.
• On an unspecified date 15 years prior to "Oops", Blitzo accidentally causes a fire that burns down his families imp circus, wherein his mother died and Fizzarolli became horribly disfigured by the flames.

10-1 years ago

• On an unspecified date 9 years prior to "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", Fizzarolli achieves his first win in Mammon's annual clown pageant.
• After Fizzarolli becomes Mammon's new brand figure, the pair advertise Mammon's new brand and the Robotic Fizzarollis.
• On an unspecified date, Stolas tells a young Octavia about Azathoth's Tears, which only come around once every thousand years.
• On an unspecified date, Stolas sings a lullaby to a young Octavia about her going to be okay.
• On an unspecified date, Stolas brings Stella and a young Octavia to Loo Loo Land where Octavia is scared by Robo Fizz.
• On an unspecified date 7 years prior to "Overture", Lilith stopped being in contact with Charlie.
• On an unspecified date 7 years prior to "Radio Killed the Video Star", Alastor left Pentagram City some time after having almost beat Vox.
• On an unspecified date after a failed bank heist with Chazwick Thurman, Moxxie is sent to prison where he meets Blitzo.
• On an unspecified date, I.M.P is founded as a hitman business in Hell, with Moxxie being its first employee.
• On an unspecified date, Millie steals a hit from Moxxie and Blitzo. Blitzo seeks out Millie, and after a bar fight, hires her into I.M.P.
• On an unspecified date, Stella hosts a "Still Not Divorced" party where Blitzo attempts to break into Stolas' study. After a night of sex with Stolas, Blitzo successfully steals Stolas' Grimoire and Stolas yells at Stella about a possible divorce.
• On an unspecified date, I.M.P lease a rundown office space in Imp City to be their headquarters.
• A year prior to "Ozzie's", Moxxie and Millie get married to each other.

Unknown dates

• Months prior to the events of "Unhappy Campers", Barbie Wire checks out of rehab from St. An's Hospital and gets a job as a drug dealer.

Present

Hazbin Hotel

• After the recent Extermination concludes, Charlie pitches the Happy Hotel on the 666 News, but gets critically panned. Alastor returns to Pentagram City, offers his help to Charlie, and changes the hotel name to "Hazbin Hotel".
• A week after the extermination, Charlie goes to the Heaven Embassy to discuss her plan to the head of the Exorcists, Adam, who informs that the extermination is going to occur 6 months early.

Helluva Boss

• On an unspecified date, Mrs. Mayberry hires I.M.P to kill Martha. They celebrate with their client after the hit is complete.
• On an unspecified date, Stolas hires I.M.P to bodyguard him and his daughter while they are at Loo Loo Land. The amusement park is burned down by the actions of the I.M.P.
• On an unspecified date, Verosika Mayday and her crew move into the I.M.P Headquarters building to work for one of the companies there.
• On an unspecified date, shortly after arriving in Hell, Loopty Goopty hires I.M.P to kill his business partner, Lyle Lipton, who soon also arrives in Hell.
• Stolas tells Blitzo about the upcoming Harvest Moon Festival that is his annual duty for the Wrath Ring. Blitzo and I.M.P go to the festival and stay at Millie's parents house where Striker attempts to assassinate Stolas.
• Moxxie takes Millie to Ozzie's to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary. In order to stalk Moxxie and Millie, Blitzo takes Stolas on their first "date" to Ozzie's as well, where the four are mocked by Asmodeus, Fizzarolli, and Verosika Mayday. During this time, Loona was attending a party she was invited to by Vortex.
  • Later the same night after the events at Ozzie's, Blitzo is convinced by Loona to stay at Beelzebub's party.
• After his date with Blitzo, Stolas gets into a fight with Stella where he demands she leave his mansion and instigates a divorce.
• Wednesday, 20th - Azathoth's Tears are going to be visible that night, but as Stolas is preoccupied moving Stella's belongings out from his home, Octavia steals Stolas' Grimoire from I.M.P Headquarters and accidentally goes to Los Angeles on Earth, prompting Stolas and I.M.P to search for her.
  • The same day, Stolas asks in text Blitzo if he is coming over with his grimoire for their monthly rendezvous tonight but says Blitzo doesn't have to come, saying he'll be fine without the grimoire.
• On an unspecified date, Crimson invites I.M.P to his mansion for an arranged marriage with his son to Chazwick Thurman. The wedding is interrupted and called off the next day, after which Crimson has Chaz executed for deceiving him.
• The day before the next full moon rendezvous, Stolas asks in text if Blitzo would like to relax instead of having sex but says Blitzo doesn't have to come, saying he's doesn't need the grimoire until the next month.
• On an unspecified date, Stolas asks in text if Blitzo would like to properly catch up on Monday rather than the full moon, but Blitzo declines saying he might be busy, and Stolas offers they drop the book off to each other.
• On an unspecified date, Striker captures Stolas and attempts to kill him before Stella calls off the hit, and escapes after his battle with Moxxie and Millie. Stolas is badly wounded and is taken to St. An's Hospital in the Sloth Ring.
• For about a week, Blitzo looks for his estranged twin sister throughout Hell, while Moxxie leads his first mission on Earth with Millie.
• The following week from Stolas' hospitalization, Blitzo and Fizzarolli are captured and escape from Striker and Crimson while a fully recovered Stolas meets with Asmodeus about Asmodean Crystals. Fizzarolli misses the rehearsal for Mammon's clown pageant.
• On an unspecified date, Fizzarolli competes in Mammon's annual clown pageant, with Blitzo as his bodyguard, where Fizzarolli quits working for the Sin.
• On the night of the full moon, Stolas and Blitzo prepare for their rendezvous. While Blitzo shops for sex toys, the Cherubs enter Hell to capture Blitzo, but when they try to kill him, I.M.P intervenes and defeats them. When Blitzo arrives for his rendezvous, Stolas takes his grimoire back and gives Blitzo an Asmodean Crystal, freeing him from their arrangement. Stolas then confesses his feelings for Blitzo and get into an argument before teleporting Blitzo out.
• The next day, Stolas receives an invitation from Verosika to an "Anti-Blitzo Party" and Blitzo sneaks into Stolas' mansion to see him. After an argument, Blitzo visits those he's wronged in the past and apologizes to them.
• A month later since Blitzo's "break-up" with Stolas, I.M.P faces financial crisis due to Blitzo's careless spending on taxidermy owls and plates with realistic horses. Rita hires Blitzo and Millie to investigate and hunt a supposed ghost at the One Star Wonder.
• On an unspecified date, I.M.P gets arrested for using Stolas' grimoire illegally and are put on trial by Satan. The trial is interrupted by Stolas, who takes the blame and claims himself as the "mastermind". Satan sentences Stolas to be banished from the Ars Goetia for the next 100 years and has his powers and status stripped from him.
• A month later since Stolas' banishment, on Sinsmas day, I.M.P celebrates the holiday and Stolas works as the I.M.P receptionist. A client hires I.M.P to kill her ex-husband, which I.M.P calls off. I.M.P fight Andrealphus to save Stolas, and after Octavia saves him, she rejects and leaves her father. That night, Millie finds out she's pregnant.

Notes

• In a preview for the Hazbin Hotel pilot, the Royal Family portrait is taken in 1871; in addition, the year 1981 was seen in the Helluva Boss Pilot as the year Imp City was established. These imply that Hell uses Gregorian years, however, as both were details of early versions of each series, it is unknown if these are accurate to the current timeline.
• In "Seeing Stars", a coin that Moxxie picks up is printed in the year "2021", implying the current or prior year that Azathoth's Tears takes place.
